We’re seeking an experienced internal sales pricing specialist to join our team in Newcastle.
We’re growing our inside sales capability and looking for a confident negotiator who loves turning complex, multi‑modal requests into clear, competitive quotes. You’ll build strong relationships with customers and our carrier/agent network, keep timelines realistic and transparent, and support external sales with pricing and tender responses across Air, Sea, and Road (import & export).

What you’ll do:
- Prepare accurate, competitive quotations across modes
- Negotiate rates with airlines, carriers, agents and suppliers
- Keep customers informed with clear, timely updates and practical advice
- Spot cross‑sell opportunities and support tender activity
- Share market changes internally to act fast
All colleagues undertake general office duties including answering the phone, filing and dealing with the post.
What you’ll bring:
- Freight forwarding/logistics experience (commercial exposure preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑minded approach
- Team player who enjoys collaborating for the best customer outcome
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Committed, motivated, energetic, and fun with a positive can-do attitude
- Flexible with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the day-to-day business
- Ability to work well whilst under time constraints with a ‘right first-time’ approach.

Location
This role is full-time Monday to Friday based at our Newcastle office.
